Activities of GGSS - Summer Camps
Every year, during summer holidays (April/May), 'Vasanta Shibiram - Summer camp for kids", to make children the cultural ambassadors of Bharatha, is organised by GGSS. These camps have been organised for the past 25 years in the main branch at Vyalikaval, and have also been organised at Vidyaranyapura, Sahakarnagar, Nanda Kishore Bhavan branches in recent years..
The shibiram focuses on various aspects such as Spoken Sanskrit, Music, Stotras, Yoga, Vedic math, Bhagavadgita, Story telling, Rangoli, Dance, Games, Moral education, Art and Craft and Group Dynamics. Lectures by eminent scholars are also organised. Children are also taken for a one-day devalaya-darshanam.
